Marriage Assistance

The aim of the marriage grant is to provide financial assistance to unmarried women who, or whose guardians, cannot afford marriage expenses. Its current rate is 30,000 PKR.

Eligibility Criteria

Any poor, needy, and deserving woman or her parent/guardian can apply for this grant.

How to Apply

The Mustahiq can apply to the Local Zakat Committee for Marriage Assistance. The Local Zakat Committee will determine Istehqaq and forward the case to the District Zakat Committee, which will release funds as per procedure to the concerned Local Zakat Committee. Payment will be made by the Local Zakat Committee.
