BOLO HELPLINE – 0800-22227

BOLO Helpline 0800-22227 is established at Provincial level for the victims of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and persons with disabilities at Directorate of Social Welfare and Women Empowerment KP. The proposed helpline is hosted in the office of Social welfare and women empowerment, and proposed operations are managed under one roof. It is providing the services of centralized database of victims of GBV and persons with disability across KP, integration of services, immediate psychological support, referral services, awareness on basic rights and legal aid in consultation with lawyers panel 24/7 via toll-free number. The pilot phase of Programme is accessible in Districts of Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Nowshera, Swabi and Abbottabad.

Objective

To ensure convenience and accessibility of services to survivors of gender-based violence.
To extend program outreach to improve GBV response services and provide GBV survivors with essential support.
To develop a database of victims and allow the department to work out future plans for GBV programming and track the response mechanism.
