Child Protection and Welfare Commission

  The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Child Protection and Welfare Commission has been established under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Child Protection and Welfare Act 2010.

      Functions

      1. To act as focal point for effective supervision and coordination of  child rights matters at Provincial and local level.
      2. To implement policies on prevention, protection, rehabilitation and integration of children at risk.
      3. To review all Provincial Laws, Rules & Regulations affecting the status and rights of children and to propose new laws as and when needed.
      4. Prevention of child labour, child sexual abuse, child trafficking and any form of violence against children.
